RTEP/GTEP/GREP
Elan Shapiro and Brurit Laub began the journey:

Elan Shapiro & Brurit Laub first published the Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol (R-TEP) in 2008. In 2014 Elan developed a group application, the Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (G-TEP). In 2022 we had a third protocol added, the Group Resource Enhancement Protocol (GREP) to help clinicians and clients connect themselves to inner resources when dealing with on-going trauma . These protocols have been taught to EMDR clinicians at over a 100 trainings in more than 20 countries and there are a number of published and ongoing controlled and field studies.

Intervention in uncertain times:  Remote Protocols for Clinicians

G-TEP for Remote Individual and Self Care
The G-TEP training has been adapted for in-person and remote application. It has a number of advantages, keeping the client safe and contained. The step by step structured worksheet establishes a concrete representation of present, past and future resources that envelope the Trauma Episode.
Group Resource Enhancement Protocol (GREP)
This  protocol was developed to help therapists of various orientations utilize an EMDR based approach to creating strong connections to resources and increase stabilization. It has been used to remotely connect with EMDR therapists in the Ukraine and with refugees in other countries.
